Senior Epidemiologist

This is a brand new position within an established specialist consultancy company in the UK which delivers a wide range of RWE, Health Outcomes and Health Economics projects to pharma, biotech and medtech companies around the world.
The Senior Epidemiologist/Real World Evidence Lead will lead the company s projects in this area (including prospective and retrospective observational studies), managing a small team ( 3 people), engaging with clients and leading multiple projects. There is a commitment from the company leadership to continue building the Epidemiology team in the coming years and this position presents a great opportunity for an experienced Epidemiologist to develop their career in a stable, friendly and well-respected company.
Specific responsibilities will include:

• Project management of real world evidence (RWE) projects
• Managing client relationships
• Designing projects and supervising successful delivery from the team
• Supporting business development, developing project proposals to meet clients needs and advising clients
• Collaborating with Statistics, Health Economics and Writing colleagues to ensure high quality and innovative projects are delivered at all times

Applicants must have a PhD or MSc in epidemiology, health data science or a similar subject and proven experience of designing prospective/retrospective epidemiological studies including healthcare database analyses. Project management skills and excellent communication skills are also vital characteristics required for this position. Experience may come from another Consulting business, life science companies, academia or the public sector.
