Expected Interview date: To be confirmed Expected start date: As soon as possible About the role This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and experienced events organiser to join our enthusiastic team to enhance external engagement with the University of Sussex through the support of its corporate and public events programme and graduation ceremonies. You will support the development, management and successful delivery of some key Sussex events, including the university’s high-profile graduation ceremonies, corporate and public events as well as alumni reunions. Working as part of a larger events team, you will be researching, planning, implementing, and evaluating a large number of events each year. About you The successful candidate will be a highly organised and flexible team player. You will possess excellent written, verbal, IT and interpersonal skills, and have an affable personality. You will be a confident and experienced event professional with substantial experience. You will need to be able to balance a large workload of sometimes conflicting priorities and so will need to be able to remain calm under pressure and multi-task. You will have the skills to manage your own workload and at times, support other colleagues. About our Division The CMA division is vital in contributing towards the success of Sussex.
