Senior Events Manager

Our client, an Award Winning Events company within Yorkshire is looking for a highly experienced Senior Events Manager to join their expanding team. This company is a leader within their field, delivering a range of extraordinary events to clients on a worldwide basis within a variety of sectors. Within this role, you will have responsibility for leading a small team whilst managing some key clients for the business.

What the role will involve:

• Project leading on large scale events from an 'end to end' process through the full event life cycle
• You will be a key point of contact throughout the event, liaising with stakeholders on regular live updates
• Working with Business Development in the handling of new business
• Full event evaluation, post event, to assess the success and areas for improvement
• Producing monthly reports for Account Director review
• Financial and budgeting responsibility with additional negotiations for venues, budgets etc
• Training and assessing the ongoing personal development of members of your team
• Account Management - continually assessing clients' ROI, having quarterly updates with clients to provide possible solutions and facilitate new strategic opportunities
• Taking a brief and being able to create a pitch and offer to a client directly from that brief

What we are looking for:

• You will have 3+ years' experience gained working at a similar level within an integrated, events or experiential agency, with leadership experience as a key part of your role
• You will be a highly experienced Events Manager with a proven track record in managing and planning events and will attend some of the events which could be UK, European or International
• You will be able to cope well under pressure and remain productive in high pressure situations
• We are looking for strong finance knowledge and experience with managing budgets
• Multi tasking will come natural to you with managing multiple event projects and accounts
• Flexiblility to work additional hours and attend some Events as the workload dictates, which maybe International
• Self-motivated, you will work with initiative and be focused on quality and detail within all areas of your work
• Full UK Driving Licence required
