Senior Event Manager

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting Yorkshire Children’s Charity (YCC) with their search for a Senior Events Manager. YCC is a needs-led charity which exists for the sole purpose of helping children who are at a disadvantage in life; be that due to disability, ill health or financial circumstance. YCC care deeply for their beneficiaries and their families, and for the schools and communities they support.

Leading a small team the Senior Events Manager is responsible for the logistics and delivery of all YCC events including some of the region’s largest award ceremonies, flagship, social and networking events. An important part of the role will involve thinking creatively and outside the box to improve and develop the events portfolio.  

The successful candidate will have significant experience of delivering events at a large scale or less experience of running similar very detailed events. You will be a leader with the presence, gravitas, and sensitivity to operate effectively at all levels.

A strong work ethic is essential along with a passion for helping children.
