Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Senior Executive, Partnership Operations. As an integral part of the Partnership Operations team, the Senior Executive will support Manager on operational tasks relating to partnership asset delivery, with a particular focus on event management.

What will you be doing?


Helping to plan, execute, and review non-match day events across the Partnerships Team, including but not limited to signing sessions, talent appearances, summits, play-on-pitch, open training and VVIP prospect experiences.

Supporting the match day Operations Team when required for both men’s and women’s games, ensuring all preparations have been completed by the Partnership Delivery Team for the delivery of match-day rights including fan zone, half time and sponsored game activity.

Being the main point of contact for match day ticketing and hospitality across both men’s and women’s teams for allocated partners, providing support with itinerary development, bespoke gifting and the coordination of transport and accommodation.

Reporting on ticketing and hospitality usage and conducting feedback for allocated partners.

Documenting asset delivery processes, reviewing and improving where necessary.

Maintaining the central partner mailbox, ensuring contact sheets are kept up to date.

Be a positive, collaborative, and effective member of the Partnerships Team and build strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

Undertake any projects or assignments as delegated by Managers.

You will be required to occasionally support on the following from time to time:

Working closely with Partnership Delivery Teams to coordinate and track the delivery of partner branding and other contracted inventory. This includes but is not limited to, communicating deadlines, testing creatives, coordinating time with talent, and managing the timely delivery of all partner branding, (including LED, stadium & training centre branding, and men’s and women’s matchday programmes). 
Supporting with budget management.
Supporting on all gifting across the department.


​Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in a Partnerships or Events role. This is a partner-facing role, so you will be comfortable dealing with external clients of a C-Suite level. You will have knowledge of ticketing and hospitality as well as an understanding of the commercial sports landscape. You’ll have experience of managing budgets and driving efficiencies. You will be highly competent in using Microsoft Office Suite with experience of using ticketing systems. You will have experience working accurately in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and prioritising tasks effectively. You’ll have experience handling confidential and sensitive information in a discrete manner. You will be comfortable working autonomously, showing initiative and proactivity.

With your exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you’ll have the confidence to deal with people at all levels, both internally and externally. You will be adaptable and adept at finding ways to overcome obstacles to deliver what is required.  You will possess a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and work to exceed expectations. Preferably, you’ll be degree educated but this is not essential.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week. Due to the nature of this role, you will occasionally be required to work weekends. Your main base will be our Liverpool Head Office which is close to local bars, shops and restaurants and has great views over the river Mersey, with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis. You may be required to travel, sometimes at short notice depending on business demands.
