We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Facilities Manager with an Electrical Bias to join one of the UK’s leading Facilities Management Companies. The position will sit within their Healthcare Division and be part of the team responsible for the building maintenance at a Hospital within Coventry. The role of the Senior Facilities Manager will be to manage all elements of planned and reactive maintenance regimes, health and safety management and support to the Account commercial team are all key parts of the role.
Responsibilities
- Ensure CAFM systems are in place to optimise the management of all planned and reactive works
- Leads and collates the output of knowledge share
- Engages specialist capability where needed
- Develops management resource plans to meet operational needs and effects change where required
- Support the Account Manager and Commercial teams in managing the finances of the Account
- Maintain commercial, technical, legal and insurance knowledge to support the Account
- Early identification of business risks in projects and ensuring that risk management, risk registers and contingency are in place to manage a minimise risk
- Ensure compliance with procedures
- Utilise CAFM system to maximum effect on the Account: operational delivery, commercial and demonstrating best practice
- Demonstrate technical excellence
Qualifications
- HNC/HND Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in facilities management within a healthcare setting (Desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and project management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
