Senior Finance Administrator (Sales Ledger)

We are looking to expand our Finance team based at our Head Office in Paisley next to Glasgow Airport. The main purpose of the role is to work as part of the team responsible for providing accurate financial services and contribute to the growth of our award-winning, Commercial Cleaning & Facilities Management Business.
The Role:
Experienced Senior Finance Administrator (Sales Ledger) with good numerical competence, excellent communication skills and previous experience in an accounting or finance-based office position to work within our Finance Team responsible for all accounting duties / tasks to ensure the smooth running of the company’s finance department
Duties:
Reporting to our Financial Controller your main duties and responsibilities in your role will include:
- Creating and sending invoices & statements (both electronically & portal loading) with additional backup.
- Contacting clients for purchase orders
- Credit control
- Processing sales receipts & remittances
- Bank Reconciliations
- Assisting with month end prepayments & accruals
- Assisting with additional reporting & analysis requirements as required
- Communicating effectively with both finance & non finance personnel
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance-based role
- Accounting / Bookkeeping Qualification
- Competent with Sage 50 posting & reporting
- Computer literate with good Microsoft office & strong excel spreadsheet skills
- Excellent administrative skills with the ability to work to fixed deadlines
- Numerically competent with attention to detail & be able to work on your own initiative
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Able to work as part of a team
Role & Benefits:
- Salary circa £36,000.00 (DOE) per annum
