Senior Finance Assistant

CMA are exclusively partnering with a growing construction company who have a focus in the luxury market, to recruit a Senior Finance Assistant on a permanent basis.  This role will be reporting directly into the Financial Controller and working closely alongside the Directors of the company. The business has big aspirations and there will be ample opportunity to develop your career long term within the company.

What will the Senior Finance Assistant role involve?

• Transactional bookkeeping including processing high volume invoice processing, sales ledger, credit control and bank reconciliations;
• Vat returns including managing HMRC contact;
• CIS scheme;
• Assisting with month end processing including prepayments/accruals, journal postings; 
• Assisting the Financial Controller with producing management accounts.

Suitable Candidate for the Senior Finance Assistant vacancy:

• AAT Studying or AAT Qualified;
  
• Based in the office primarily with 1 day WFH;
• Xero experience would be advantageous;
• Construction experience or working in an SME is preferable.
