Senior Finance Business Partner opportunity to join a renowned organisation on a permanent full time basis.

My client is looking for a committed and engaging individual who is an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to add value to their dynamic team.

As the Senior Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for maintaining a senior level relationship between the finance directorate and the shipping and solutions business lines, alongside other duties below;

Key responsibilities of the Senior Finance Business Partner

• Production of directorate monthly financials to support dashboard reporting including KPIs, the provision of monthly contract reports and preparation of tender pricing.
• To ensure consolidated, robust financial data is available for monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting, corporate 5 year plans and annual budgets
• Lead financial support to the company's shipping and solutions business lines, with particular emphasis on quality business cases for investments.
• Leading on the preparation and delivery of the month end reporting process
• Develop financial systems
• To provide management accounts support to other functional areas as required.
• Support Head of Finance in developing team members, building a talent pipeline to support the succession of the wider Finance Team.
• Support Head of Finance in reporting and developing reporting requirements
• Provide expert advice and guidance to the organisation according to own area and solve any problems that arise, either personally or through delegation to appropriate team members.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Undertake projects as required by the company and lead on or contribute to a range of projects and assignments, working with different functional teams.

Required skills and experience of the Senior Finance Business Partner

• CCAB/ CIMA Qualified or QBE
• Demonstrable experience of managing and controlling budgets, resources and funding
• Experience gained from working in a number of Finance roles across different industries and/or companies
• Experience of developing and implementing systems
• Experience from construction, engineering, nuclear, shipping, industry
• High level of IT skills
• Excellent communication skills
• High level of analytical skills
• Proven ability in a Finance Business Partnering position
