Development and presentationof medium and long term financial forecasts (3 year plan, yearly cash flows,financial covenants compliance). Monitoring, analysis and presentation ofactual results and variances versus forecastsPreparation of financialanalysis and interpretation of past, present and forecasted financialperformance of the company to support business decisions at various levels
Ex-ante/ex-post evaluationof investments
Specific financial analysisto support specific business decisions
Proposal of the generalframework, strategy, policies of the company management information system alsoconsidering comparable companies for suitable, top of the range, planning &control activities
Design, coordination andactual implementation of all group financial planning processes, especiallylong term planning, budget, rolling forecasts
Definition of the expectedeconomic/financial targets in a prompt and timely manner in collaboration withline managers
Recommendation to seniormanagers of financial targets and/or actions to improve financial performance
Preparation of varianceanalysis between expected and actual results on the relevant variables bycomparing performance with operating plans and standards and providing specificrecommendations
Providing the correct andprompt information needed to prepare the group consolidated financial statementas well the local subsidiaries financial statement to the respective Board ofDirectors and to any other concerned third party, as well as to implementeffectively administrative and accounting procedures, in compliance with theaccounting directives issued by the parent company
Guaranteeing the coherencebetween management and consolidated financial reporting by setting theappropriate system / procedures and reconciling periodically the variances
Organisation management andsuccession planning
Selection assessment andpeople development
Assigned budget andfinancial resources management
What you'll need to succeed
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- A professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and reporting, preferably in an international environment
- Strong knowledge of UKGAAP standards and practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- High attention to detail, accuracy and quality
- Proficiency in MS Office and financial management software
