SalaryReed Finance are partnered with a highly successful and well-known organisation in the recruitment of aSenior Financial Accountant to join their team on an interim basis. Initially this role is expected for a minimum of 6 months to support throughout an upcoming project, however could well be extended beyond this.
This is a varied role where hitting the ground running is a must, so a full accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and previous experience of overseeing a team at this level is essential.
As Senior Financial Accountant, your key duties will include:
- Producing Financial Accounts and preparing year-end specific statements
- Leading a well-established team and answering queries where necessary
- Overseeing preparation of VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparation of statutory returns for the business
- Reviewing and improving financial systems and controls
Our client are working on a flexible, hybrid basis with 2 days per week required in the office, there are excellent transport links and plenty of free parking on site. Due to the nature of this interim role, the ideal candidate will need to be available immediately or at very short notice.
