- Developing and implementing financial accounting strategies to improve efficiencies.
- Providing leadership and guidance to accounting team members.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Preparing and presenting financial reports.
- Conducting and taking part in financial audits and implementing necessary changes.
Profile
A successful Senior Financial Accounting Manager should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a financial services, retail or other industry where costing is involved
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting standards and principles and cost control methods
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make informed decisions
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software
