Senior Financial Controller
The Honeywell Senior Financial Controller is the owner of the financial accounting & compliance for all allocated legal entities registered in the Country. The role has end-to-end responsibility and oversight over US GAAP and statutory reporting and ensures an environment of strong internal controls. The role closely collaborates with the Regional and Global Finance Centres through management of staff and/or outsourced service providers.
Our Senior Financial Controller reports into the UKI Finance Leader and is an important partner to the regional business, tax and treasury teams. Other key partners include External and Internal Auditors, Corporate Finance and Functional Management and SBG Finance.

Key requirements
Accounting & Controls and Statutory Tax US GAAP expertise
- Monthly pre-close / close lock meetings with GFC & RFC and ensure timely & qualitative close
- Provide/Review monthly supplemental schedules and statistical data.
- US GAAP to IFRS conversion
- Plan & Support the Statutory Accounting Process
- Co-ordinate and support, Tax Audits for all allocated legal entities within the country.

Key skills and qualifications
Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor’s degree / Master with accounting and finance qualification with 7 or more years in managing Legal Entity Compliance
- ACCA qualified
- Audit experience
- Familiar with the UK Companies Act 2006
- Significant exposure to IFRS 9, IFRS 16, IAS 19, IAS 38 at minimum
