Senior Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer Overview
The successful candidate will work within operations, heading up the field-based life safety team. Supporting team members in the day-to-day operations of various fire safety systems, ensuring clients receive a high level of customer experience whilst ensuring full compliance.
Senior Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide a reliable, quality and professional service to our clients
- Deliver the highest level of professionalism and communication
- Provide technical support to all internal and external stakeholders
- Operation in line with industry regulations, ensuring full compliance
- Achieve departmental operational KPI's
- Commissioning of Fire detection systems
- Fault finding and repairs of the above systems
- Operate in line with Amthal Group's Vision, Mission and Values
- Participate in Out of Hours call out rota
- Support with maintenance visits of conventional and addressable fire detection systems
- Support with maintenance visits of emergency lighting
- Support with maintenance visits of smoke ventilation systems
Skills & Experience
- Min 3 years of Industry Experience in line with the duties above
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Systematic and logical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to support, mentor and train team members
- Excellent communication skills (remote and face-to-face)
- Knowledge of West Midlands postcodes
- Ability to be self-sufficient and think outside of the box
- Excellent time keeping
- Commitment to Health and safety policies
- Valid UK Driver's licence
