Senior Front-End Developer (digi agency)

Senior Front-End Developer (digi agency), £60k to £75k, Bath / Hybrid (1 or 2 days per week)

Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a successful, professional and down to earth digital agency to find another great Web Developer. This time we are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer, ideally with excellent skills in JavaScript, React, Figma and animation.

Our client is a small but busy and fast paced agency who deliver top quality results in the form of large and complex websites and web applications for their customers. There are also some exciting quick turnaround projects where you will build a piece of cool tech for a live event, often working with a top London PR agency who would brief you in.

The design and development stack is predominantly Figma, React/Next.js, and/or WordPress, although this can vary a lot depending upon the requirements of the project.

Skills / person spec required;

• HTML5 / CSS3 (responsive and semantic)
• Extensive JavaScript experience
• Excellent experience with React.js
• Experience with git
• Experience creating beautiful web animation (e.g with GSAP, Framer Motion)
• Comfortable building FE templates from Figma
• Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship

• Next.js / other static site generators combined with a headless CMS
• Node.js / Express / Socket.io
• Three.js / WebGL
• WordPress and common plugins (traditional / headless CMS)
• Electron.js
• NoSQL (Firebase / MongoDB)

• Interested in playing with Arduino / Raspberry Pi
