Lead Full Stack Developer

Northampton

1-3 days a week in office

Up to £85,000

This flagship product is a comprehensive online banking UI, built on a third-party digital banking platform. With a strong focus on the racing industry, our system handles jockeys' and trainers' expenses, racing fees, fraud risks, payment flows, authentication, and more. Currently undergoing a massive upgrade, we're embarking on a 6-month project to enhance and modernize our offering.

Role Overview: As a Senior/Lead Full Stack Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products. Your expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, React/NextJs, NestJs, Node, GraphQL, and SQL Databases will be crucial in developing both frontend and backend systems. While the role leans towards the backend, proficiency in React is essential. You'll work in an Agile and Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop frontend and backend systems using JavaScript, Typescript, React/NextJs, NestJs, Node, and GraphQL.
  • Drive the performance of projects, ensuring technical excellence.
  • Create and update Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Work on backend API development using Node.JS.
  • Collaborate with test teams to ensure product quality.
  • Deploy new features to online web and mobile applications.
  • Resolve incidents and conduct bug analysis for bug fixing.
  • Contribute to the full DevSecOps life cycle: design, coding, test, build, QA, deployment, and monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, React/NextJs, NestJs, Node, GraphQL, and SQL Databases.
  • Emphasis on strong Node.js experience
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines and Azure infrastructure/Serverless applications.
  • Knowledge of API development and integration.
  • Ability to work in an Agile and Scrum environment.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and enhancement.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Challenges/Key Sells:

  • Enjoy a fair and collaborative work environment, unlike traditional fintech corporations.
  • Plenty of opportunities for career progression and making a significant impact on the wider business.

If you are ready to take on exciting challenges and contribute to our innovative projects, apply now and become a key player in shaping the future of digital banking
