THE ROLE
The Carrick on Loch Lomond
As Senior Greenkeeper you will support the Golf Course and Estate Manager and Deputy Head Greenkeeper in the duties of maintaining and presenting the golf course, including supervising, training and developing greenkeepers and trainees.
Key things you will be responsible for:
Turf management
Grass cutting
Applying fertilisers
Turf disease pest management
Fundamentals of daily golf course set-up including: Greens, Tees, Fairways and Bunkers
Tree and forestry management and presenting water bodies.
NB Early morning starts (6am) which include working weekend mornings on a rotation shift basis are require and the duties are fully externally based so there is a requirement to work in all weathers.

Minimum Vocational Qualification Level 2 Sportsturf or equivalent
Greenkeeping experience on a quality course
Pesticides application certification an advantage
Chainsaw operation certification an advantage
