MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a global manufacturing company based in the Mid Ulster area as they look for a Senior Group Accountant to join their team.
The Company:
Our client is a well-known global manufacturing company based in the Cookstown area. They have multiple sites across EMEA, APAC & The Americas regions. They manufacture a variety of products for their global client base that span across a range of sectors. Now is an exciting time to join the company as they are look to add a Senior Group Accountant to their finance function.
The Role:
As the successful Senior Group Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts for all entities
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Act as a business partner to budget holders within the Group
- Ensure the Group adheres to current technical accounting standards
- Assist in the year-end audit
- Mentor and develop junior members of the finance team
- Other duties as outlined in the full job description.
The Person:
The successful Senior Group Accountant will meet the following criteria:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Excellent communication skills.
