Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to joining our clients busy team in Milton Keynes. You will work in partnership with leaders and line managers in relation to sourcing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR systems and data management across multiple countries.
You will also work closely with HR colleagues across the business to monitor, review and update HR policies in line with current legislation and best practice, Effectively maintaining accurate employee information manually or in a Human Resources Information System.
This is a 12 month Mat Cover contract starting ideally in June 2024 and you will be required on site in Milton Keynes full time 
Duties:

  • Sourcing candidates by utilising job boards, professional associations, and social networking Screens candidate application materials. Conducts preliminary interviews to identify applicants who meet the requisite skills and qualifications. Performs or delegates administrative tasks to junior colleagues including logging applications, scheduling interviews, and pre- employment screenings.
  • Partnering with payroll vendor to issue pay to employees by exporting data using the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) reporting function, cross checking with physical payroll information, and sending data to the Communicates with the vendor on queries, reviews payroll reports for completeness and accuracy.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of existing policies and procedures to support routine and non-routine inquiries from team members, retirees, beneficiaries, and/or applicants regarding recruitment, employment, benefits, payroll, record keeping, and Assists more junior colleagues.
  • Answers complex employee questions on HR employee policy, practices, procedures and Meets with team members/managers to document employee relations activities including absence discipline, performance, reorganisations, absence management, and flexible working options.
Experience:
  • A Minimum 2 years HR experience
  • CIPD Level 5 
  • Up-to-date Regulatory Knowledge
  • Coaching, Mentoring or Training Experience
  • Effective Communication – Written and Oral & Strong questioning, negotiating/probing skills
  • Critical and Analytical Thinking
