Senior HR Advisor – Manufacturing

MCS Group is delighted to be working with global manufacturing organisation based in, who wish to recruit a Senior HR Advisor, on a full-time, permanent basis for their County Tyrone site.

The role

As the Senior HR Advisor, you will report to the Senior HR Manager supporting the HR function to deliver on their people strategy in collaboration with the wider team of experienced HR professionals. You will be responsible for all aspects of HR, including employee relations, recruitment, payroll, and DEI.

Responsibilities will include;

• Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of HR, including being involved in a project capacity to ensure HR is ‘adding value’ long term.
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to provide business partnering support.
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand business and operational efficiencies and in turn improve business performance by driving the people agenda to achieve business results.
• Assisting line managers and supervisors to set goals for Team Members, assess capability and drive calibration across the performance management cycle.
• Oversee the change management & Team Member engagement initiatives.
• Provide guidance and coaching to HR team members and be the main point of contact on employee relations.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures and ensure they are applied consistently and updated where necessary.
• Co-ordinate and manage the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and instil HR practices/processes which add value.
• Planning, organising and delivering training & development for team members at all levels

The successful candidate:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR Generalist capacity, experienced in all elements of HR.
• HR related Degree is advantageous.
• Applicants must be able to work on their own initiative, prioritise the workload and complete tasks and objectives in a timely manner.
