Senior Hr Advisor

Our client, a law enforcement organisation are looking to recruit a Senior HR Advisor.

• Location: Flexible working, hybrid with offices based in Central London (Embankment).
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 36hrs
• Pay Rate: £17.52 per hour
• Start Date: ASAP (pending a security clearance which can take up to four weeks prior to starting)
• Duration: 6 months with possibility of an extension

Senior HR Advisor Roles & Responsibilities

• Primarily responsbility is supporting on full HR policy review
• Support the Senior HR Advice & Guidance Manager

Additional responsibilities:

• Provide advice, guidance and support to line managers on attendance, performance, grievance, dispute resolution. This can be as simple as a telephone call with a manager over a query, providing advice on what constitutes a good PIP or supporting a manager through a full formal process from cradle to grave, which could lead to dismissal.
• Where necessary the HR advisor will be asked to support on:
  • Managing Company sickness - supporting employees, line managers and occupational sickness referrals
  • employee reasonable adjustments to support them in their role.
  • Respond to queries that are allocated to me that are received in the +HR mailbox.
  • Take notes of formal investigation meeting's as and when required.
  • Oversee the company mentoring Service,
  • Oversee and manage the WorkinConfidence
  • Manage mediation process
  • Complete the 'Record Checks' for all employees who need re vetting
  • Manage HR casework against company casework and any conflicts of interest
