Job Description
City Property (Glasgow) LLP has recently undergone an exciting Service Reform programme, to ensure that we have the right people in place to achieve our goals. This is reflected in our new Strategic Business Plan for 2023-28, which will be available shortly.
An increase in our staff numbers across all areas of the business means that we face an increased requirement for HR support. We are seeking our own dedicated HR professional, embedded within our organisation, who will assist in the development and delivery of a comprehensive Human Resource Management service across City Property to support and achieve our key priorities through our people.
This post will benefit the three operational areas of the organisation, and support the objectives within our Strategic Business Plan, particularly those within key priority 3 (Investing in our staff to deliver services in a sustainable, innovative, and efficient way for all our stakeholders).
Challenges with the recruitment and retention of staff have emerged due to the nature of the labour market at present, this will be an area of focus for the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified or have equivalent professional experience within a Local Authority / ALEO HR environment.
City Property offer a generous holiday allowance of 26 days (rising to 29 days after 5 years), plus 12.5 public holidays.
You will be eligible to join our career average pension scheme (Strathclyde pension fund).
Additional staff benefits include the purchase of annual leave scheme, family friendly policies and payment of professional fees.
The role offers hybrid working and we look forward to telling you more about our approach to ensuring needs of the business are met along with flexibility to manage and maintain your work life balance.
At City Property we value diversity and inclusion. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from BAME groups who are currently under represented in our organisation.
