Brand new role in London!
Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting an education provider, based in London (North West) as they look to recruit for a Senior HR Officer on a Full time/ permanent basis.
The salary for this role will be up to £36k per annum,
Working pattern - 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home.
The role:
·Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this post holder will be accountable for:
·Effective management of People Development administration procedures, including responsibility for compliance with Employment policies and regulations
·Contribute to the production of an annual HR and resources plan including resourcing / talent planning, organisational design and development, training and CPD, performance management / appraisal
·Contribute to the design and effective operation of HR administrative processes
·Work with Regional HR Business Partner, to ensure that they receive information to create reports as required by Regional Leadership Team
·Ensure that the values, principles and mission are evident in the discharge of the duties of the post and share and act on best practice.
·Ensure accurate staff information is provided in a timely manner to complete the Academies' monthly payrolls and complete required annual staffing audits and census returns
·Advise on and co-ordinate disciplinary/capability and absence processes as necessary in conjunction with relevant policies, involving appropriate stakeholders i.e. HR contractors and Unions and assemble required documentation.
·Share good HR practice through communication/training managers and other staff.
·Effective management of staff absence, including recording and monitoring of absence levels.
·Co-ordinate and administer the recruitment of staff, including advertisements, application packs, referencing, interview and appointment processes in line with Safer recruitment policy.
Looking for:
·Experience dealing with simple to complex ER Cases
·Experience of working in a School, College, Academy or education provider would be advantageous.
·Experience of Implementing HR polices
·Appropriate HR qualification/experience - CIPD L5, preferred
·Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
·Knowledge of UK Employment Legislation
