Senior Hr Officer

​We are currently partnering with a leading higher educational institution based in London, who are recruiting for a Senior HR Officer to join their growing team on a 6 months FTC basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £41,317 to £48,482 per annum (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.

​

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Leading on supporting end-to-end recruitment campaigns and acting as the first of contact for recruitment queries

• Completing pre-employment checks, on-boarding activities for new starters, including proof right to work in the UK documentations

• Preparing and issuing employment-related documentation for newly recruited members of staff, ensuring offer letters, contracts, and other correspondence, are issued efficiently

• Advising managers and staff on policies and procedures relating to terms and conditions of employment

• Providing quality assurance about HR operations activities, identifying measures, monitoring progress and reporting and seeking new ways to improve procedures

• Lead on project work when required

Experience required:

• Experience understanding the employee lifecycle changes and employment contractual documentations

• Experience of developing process and procedures for HR practices around recruitment and operations

​

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Experiences dealing with high-volume deadline driven requests in a calm, diplomatic and persuasive manner

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain HR policies and procedures clearly to a range of staff, while maintaining confidentiality
