Your new role
You will be joining the HSE team in the West Midlands, which will predominately be a field-based role. This is an excellent opportunity to influence and shape the governance and culture of the business, reporting to the SHEQ Director. You will act as both a visiting advisor and hands-on member of a project team, reducing risk and implementing control measures at both organisational and project level.
What you\'ll need to succeed
Skills & Experience:
- Health and safety qualification (NEBOSH general certificate and/or construction certificate)
- IOSH Membership (working towards CMIOSH)
- Experience in construction, civils, utilities, or a related industry
- Exceptional communication skills -
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Tenacity in the continual improvement journey
- Measuring performance and evaluating the effectiveness of risk controls
- Full driving licence
