There is scope to move towards a Team Leader role and take on additional staff management duties.
The employer would also consider an experienced Team Leader who is willing to undertake full administration duties as well, and at a higher salary than that shown here.
Senior Administrator Job Role
Working in collaboration with Financial Planners, Paraplanners and other colleagues, you will maintain and manage client records, process life, pension and investment new business, answer and deal with telephone enquiries, prepare valuations
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare application forms and paperwork for clients to complete
- Process and manage new business and servicing through to completion. Chase progress of applications; alerting Financial Planners to any issues arising
- and keeping clients up to date with any progress
- Make changes to clients’ investments as instructed by paraplanners or planners
- Prepare client portfolio valuations and review documents
- Prepare and dispatch reports
- Regular meetings with Paraplanner and Planner to discuss work in progress
- Ad-hoc project work
- Peer checking review documents and other work when required
About You and Your Key Skills
- Good strong technical knowledge with a min of at least 2 two years’ experience in a similar role from within a Financial Planning office
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, GCSE grades A - C (or 4 - 9)
- Computer Skills - competent in the use of relevant packages including Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, good organisation and time management skills
- A critical thinker and a good problem solver
- Good communication skills both face to face and over the phone
- An ability to work under own initiative and as a team player
- Understanding of the provision of advice to clients in a compliant manner
- Experience with I/O, desirable
