Our collections of print and online resources support the teaching and research activities of the institution. Our printed collections consist of around 250,000 books with over 25,000 online journals and over 1600 study spaces available in our libraries. Responsibilities The Senior Information Assistant will support the Head of Academic Services and the Academic Services team in the development, delivery and promotion of services in support of the learning, teaching and research objectives of City, University of London. They will assist in projects undertaken by Library Services and will support delivery of student inductions and workshops. Person Specification The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering customer focused services in an academic library. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to supervise and motivate team members and be capable of working in a team environment without close supervision. Familiarity with a range of library, information and office software as well as the capacity to work with accuracy and attention to detail is expected.
