Job description

A major Insurance organisation is recruiting for an experienced London Market Insurance professional to lead their development and technical support for new and renewing Binding Authority Agreements and MRC Line Slips.

You will have a central role in their growth of Binders and Line Slips across the Group, and will demonstrate a strong understanding and working knowledge of delegated authority for Binding Authority Agreements and MRC Line Slips.

As an expert in your field your technical knowledge will provide operational support for the management of these Facilities.

As Technical Specialist for Binding Authority Agreements and MRC Line Slips your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the setup and renewal of master Facilities to current market standards
  • Focal point for internal and external sources to resolve technical queries and matters regarding Delegated Authority and Line slips
  • Working closely with Business Units, provide guidance and advice on changes and developments impacting delegated authority Contracts and MRC Line Slips
  • Ensure Contracts proceed through appropriate governance procedures, addressing matters raised
  • Supporting all areas of the Business in the development of contracts and business cases for new and renewing Facilities
  • Take a lead role in Lloyds Market initiatives involving Line Slips and Delegated Authority
  • Support the Business during external audits, and ensure actions noted are addressed appropriately
  • Preparation of Management Information for Governance, the Business and Carriers

To be successful as Technical Specialist for Binding Authority Agreements and MRC Line Slips you will demonstrate:

  • Strong Delegated Authority Binders and MRC Line Slips experience
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across the business internally, and with related bodies externally

You will be able to work on a hybrid basis from your home and the office in this role.
