Job Title:Senior Integrator Heritage Platform

Salary: £101,932 - £144,000

Location: Edinburgh, Bristol or Leeds

Hours: Full-time

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Edinburgh office location.

About this opportunity:

In Heritage Platform we're responsible for the management and migration from our legacy products and technical estates. This critical Platform has a diverse and exciting span of significant deliverables which are key to the overall strategy of Insurance, Pensions & Investments.

The purpose of the Senior Integrator is to coordinate large scale change that requires cross-cutting engagement across multiple Business Divisions and/or 3rd parties. The Senior Integrator sits at Platform or Business Unit-level, embedded within a platform for a given programme of work.

What you'll be doing:

  • Works with colleagues across the Group to ensure that platform-, BU- or Group-wide initiatives, including legal and regulatory requirements, are appropriately prioritised across necessary product backlogs, on behalf of the PO for the initiative.

  • Leads a team of Integrators to coordinate complex integration.

  • Establishes pivotal integration points across Platforms and effectively communicates these integration points to relevant audiences.

  • Works with backlog owners across the Group to understand progress against delivery timelines.

  • Collaborates with Platform Leadership and Product Owners Team to plan and prioritise integration related tasks.

  • Proactively identifies critical risks to delivery and instigates recovery action with appropriate senior leaders.

  • Is a key escalation point to resolve blockers and works with platform leaders to resolve interlock challenges between platforms.

  • Manages suppliers (3rd Party), providing oversight and managing underperformance.

  • Leads complex and high-risk implementations requiring integration between multiple parties (internal/external) to ensure safe delivery.

What you'll need:

  • Experience using agile methodology & tools - Holds overall responsibility for leading, inspiring and engaging a large and diverse teams across the business, delivering high priority or significant change.

  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills - including persuasive, influencing and motivational skills, as you'll be required to engage with senior leadership to understand long-term strategic opportunities and challenges to help support the prioritisation of appropriate actions, enabling the delivery of agreed objectives and outcomes.

  • Partner Management - Uses personal impact and positioning to build and sustain long-term relationships at all levels (including C-suite Executives). Ability to resolve disagreements, build consensus and influences outcomes.

  • Planning, Tracking, Reporting & Governance- Ability to draw on appropriate Status Reporting, Product/Platform/Lab Roadmaps and attendance at agile meetings to form a view on progress, status, risks and issues, resolving high priority issues affecting delivery.

  • Emotional Intelligence- Uses customer/colleague input to anticipate needs and steer targeted and outcome-focused plans.

  • Leadership & Culture - Experience of leading a team and applying situational judgement and experience to advise on a broad range of cultural topics (e.g. ethical leadership and accountability), using strategies such as deep listening to ensure colleagues are engaged.
