We are expanding our engineering team and seeking a Senior Inverter Software Test Engineer to lead and ensure the robustness of our products.

The Inverter Delivery Team is responsible for end-to-end delivery of traction inverters in our Drive Unit programs. Our goal is to deliver products that exceed industry benchmarks. To achieve this, we are expanding our team with a Senior Inverter Software Test Engineer who will bring extensive experience and leadership to our testing efforts.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the test process during development and production release phases for Power Electronic Traction inverters in our 800V BEV Unit Program.
• Develop and implement advanced test methods to achieve program milestones and targets, including risk identification, quality/functional defect detection and removal, and timing.
• Collaborate with the team to define and communicate test needs during supplier sourcing discussions.
• Utilize requirements management toolchains and ensure the highest quality of requirements.
• Manage stakeholders at a senior level to ensure clear and transparent interactions, enabling on-time test execution to meet program deadlines.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive powertrain engineering in a test environment, covering software and durability rigs.
• Extensive familiarity with electrical, EMC, climatic, environmental, and lifetime test techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
• In-depth understanding of control systems hardware, including sensor technology, control software, and diagnostics.
