Senior Investment Fund Controller

An Asset Management SME client of ours with international offices in Europe and America are looking to hire a Senior Investment Fund Controller to ideally be based in Dublin but will also consider London as an alternative.

The requirement is for the individual to work four days in the office and one from home.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support all day-to-day matters relating to multiple funds and separately managing accounts, including:
  • Reconcile cash positions.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process trades and other end -of-day procedures.
  • Review currency hedges.
  • Calculate monthly performance.
  • Compile monthly reports.
  • Perform turnover calculations.
  • Assist with information for marketing presentations, RFPs, and DDQs.
  • Respond to specific client requests.
• Work on long-term projects within the group and Firm-wide to improve efficiency.
• Work on cross-department projects with other colleagues within the Firm.
• Other ad hoc requirements as and when they arise.

Ideal Experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Demonstrable work experience in a similar investment/fund accounting role at an asset management firm.
• Knowledge of asset management, RIAs, and fixed income financial products.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Quick study - able to handle complex matters with multiple initiatives going on simultaneously.
• High energy and self-starter - highly motivated and an independent person who is self-confident.
• Collaborator - likes to work in a non-hierarchical, team-oriented environment.
