Senior It Analyst- Finance Compliance

About the role

The role of Senior IT Analyst- Finance compliance is a newly established position in the IT Team. 

In this role the individual is responsible for supporting the delivery of the change and compliance program agenda across the Booker Group Finance Teams, as well as the crucial support and delivery of effective, secure and efficient systems. 

This role will be focused on enhancing Segregation of Duties (SoD) management and User Access Controls (UAC). As a key member of this team, you will be pivotal in implementing cutting edge technology solutions to identify, assess and manage SoD conflicts effectively, shifting from manual to automated controls. 

Experience with SAP Authorisation Management will be key to this role.

Additionally, this role comes with a car allowance due to some travel between sites required as well as some \'Out of Hours\' work that will be required on an ad-hoc basis. 

Role Responsibility

• Designing, implementing and improving SoD controls which will significantly enhance operational efficiency, reduce the risk of human error and further solidify our commitment to robust internal controls and data security 
• Advancing IT governance, security and operational excellence through the power of automation 
• Collaborative work with key finance stakeholders, managing complex business requirements by means of a functional systems specification
• Work to deliver an effective application architecture and development and delivery of SAP system roadmap to support the company\'s growth plans 
• Manage priorities between support and project work 
• Utilise our suppliers capacity and capability to undertake project and service activity 

You will need

• Experience of SAP Authorisation Management
• Experience in managing change from conception and design to testing, delivery and support 
• Project delivery experience developed through finance focussed initiatives 
• Proficiency in developing and managing user access controls to ensure the security and efficiency of systems 
• Desire to learn, add value and drive progress
• A full or part qualification in finance would be advantageous in this role
