We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a global IT hub based in central Newcastle. This role is ideal for someone who is versatile and can adapt to the varying demands of a global IT function. The position is divided into three main ‘pillars’: agile product delivery, transformation of larger IT systems/broader change, and the exploration of new tech through proof of concept and feasibility studies.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive agile product delivery, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company goals.
• Analyse and improve larger IT systems, contributing to broader organisational change initiatives.
• Conduct proof of concept and feasibility studies to assess the viability of new technologies and their potential impact on the business.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scopes, and deliver comprehensive business solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and sprint planning sessions to prioritise tasks and manage product backlogs.
• Document and communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a global IT function.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product delivery cycles.
• Experience with IT systems analysis and broader change management.
• Ability to conduct research and analysis on the feasibility of new technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Adaptability to work across different areas of business analysis as required by the role.
