Senior IT Project Manager – London (hybrid-2 days per week - Barbican/St.Pauls/Moorgate area)

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Managerwho has a background and sound knowledge of the legal services sector and how law firms operate.  With numerous operational and IT projects running concurrently, you will be at the forefront of delivering the next generation of digitalised legal services, harnessing tools and technology to drive transformative change.

As a Senior IT Project Manager some of your responsibilities will include:

• Working in a small team delivering business transformation projects, taking end to end responsibility for some big complex deliverables.
• Planning and managing necessary resources & subject matter experts from across the department/firm.
• Building relationships with Partners/Law Firm’s stakeholders and ensuring the IT solutions are fitting with the legal focus of matters, onboarding, creation, management etc.
• Fostering a collaborative approach to IT solutions and bridging the gap between the lawyers and technology teams - agree objectives, benefits, scope, deliverables, milestones and budgets.
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of the Centre of Excellence – advocating best practice, creating a standardised approach such as PIDs, dashboards.
• Mentoring Junior Project Managers and associates building their careers in this area.

We’re looking for these attributes and skills:

• Demonstrable experience of delivering IT projects within a heavily regulated environment – the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) in this case.
• An understanding of legal specific tools and technology and how they relate operationally (law firm processes and lawyer-client relationships/workflows/document management systems).
• Project Management qualifications such as Prince2, APM or any Scrum/Agile accreditations are desirable.
• A commercial awareness/budget management.
