SENIOR IT TECHNICIAN

37 hours per week, All Year Round, Permanent position to start as soon as possible. (Must have own vehicle and willingness to travel between school sites around Bristol) VTG 9-10 Scale Point 26 -33, £27,791 to £34,829 per annum (dependent upon qualifications and experience) plus Health Cash Plan and Benefit package (see website for full details of our employee benefit package)

Venturers Trust is a dynamic and focused multi-academy trust based in Bristol, formed in September 2017 through the merger of CGS Trust and Merchants’ Academy Trust. The Trust is responsible for eight academies, 3,500 pupils and 750 staff with a commitment to making a significant and lifelong difference to the lives of young people from some of Bristol’s most disadvantaged communities.

A vacancy has arisen for a Senior IT Technician to work across the Trust with a committed team of professionals to provide technical support across the whole Academy network.

The role of Senior IT Technician offers the chance to drive the technical performance of the central team services and our academies, which serve some of the most varied communities in Bristol. You will have the opportunity to be part of a team that will secure the very best outcomes for children and support for staff within Venturers Trust.

The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of the Trusts IT network systems, including hardware, software and peripherals. It is essential that the candidate demonstrate an ability to work with a range of people at all levels including young people.
