Job Description
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Java applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work closely with the product owner to align priorities and delivery
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation
The Successful Applicant
As a successful Senior Java Developer you'll bring the following skills:
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, JSP etc.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with Struts, MVC etc.
- Any experience with AWS is a bonus
- SOAP and REST based web services, JSON/XML
- Any experience of these is a bonus: Angular/AngularJS, Wildfly, CDI, Eclipse, Maven, Docker, Kafka
