Senior Land Manager
Circa £70,000 per annum
Annual bonus and car allowance
We are currently supporting an established house building client in recruiting a Senior Land Manager to join their team in Yorkshire. We’re looking for someone with experience working in a similar role for a house builder, who has knowledge of land acquisition legislation and an ability to understand legal issues.
What you’ll be doing - 

• Identify and acquire development sites to meet the Company’s annual land targets.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure that all departments contribute fully into the land bid process in order to win development sites.
• Secure the sites under contract and through the planning process until Legal Completion of the land.
• Maintain a sound knowledge of all technical aspects covering the acquisition

What we’re looking for - 

• Strong numeracy skills, as well as excellent communication skills.
• Up to-date knowledge of land acquisition legislation and an ability to understand legal issues.
• Previous experience of working with others to manage projects through the acquisition, planning process and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to confidently present thoughts and findings to team members of all departments and senior management as required.

Salary - 

• Circa £70,000 per annum depending on experience
• Annual bonus up to 10% 
• Plus car allowance

You’ll be working out of the Yorkshire site however regular travel to developments will be required.
