Job Opportunity: Lead Radiographer - Training

Shift Patterns: 4 shifts per week - No weekends!

Are you an experienced Senior MRI Radiographer seeking new challenges in a dynamic work environment? We are currently hiring for the position of Lead Training Radiographer. The ideal candidate will possess competence in MRI and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

As the Senior Training Radiographer, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining, implementing, and continually improving training programs for all radiographers, including induction, X-ray, and MRI training.
• Direct line management and supervision of qualified junior staff, assisting them with identified training needs.
• Participation in recruitment, equipment servicing and maintenance, and governance of the department in areas such as risk management, health and safety, research, and audit activities.
• Collaborating with the Imaging Manager and deputy lead Radiographers to enhance services and ensure staff are trained to provide high-quality imaging.
• Commitment to protocol development and adaptation.

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with:

• Expertise in MRI, preferably with advanced knowledge in Sports injuries and orthopaedic practices.
• Significant experience in X-Ray and II Orthopaedics procedures.
• Experience in training junior radiographers.
• Strong leadership and managerial qualities.
• IV cannulation certificate.
• Experience with Siemens scanners (desirable, not necessary).
• Ability to make judgements involving complex facts or situations requiring analysis, interpretation, and comparison of a range of options.

Working hours:

• 4 days x 9.5-hour shifts
• No weekends! Operating between 08:00 - 20:00
