My client a leading public sector organisation based in Belfast are currently looking for a Senior Learning and Development Officer.
Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. To contribute to the development and implementation of the Trusts Learning and
Development Strategy and associated programmes.
2. To contribute to the development and implementation of a range of organisational
development programmes such as KSF and Performance Management, Investors in
People, Skills for Health, and the Widening Participation Agenda.
3. To provide advice, guidance and training to managers and staff to ensure Learning and
development needs are effectively identified, implemented and evaluated against Trust
priorities.
4. To ensure an innovative and flexible approach to the delivery and/or facilitation of a full
range of Learning and Development initiatives across the Trust.
5. To facilitate learning opportunities to meet leadership, management, team and individual
development needs across the Trust, as required.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
1. A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification and a minimum of 2 years’
experience at Band 5 or above in an HR and/or Learning & Development function.
OR
A relevant diploma or equivalent professional qualification and a minimum of 3 years’
experience at Band 5 or above in an HR and/or Learning & Development function.
OR
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Health and Social Care field with a minimum of
3 years’ experience at Band 5 or above in an HR and/or Learning & Development
function.
2. Have at least 1 years’ experience managing people.
3. A working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Suite.
