SalarySenior Legal Assistant - Commercial Contracts
Service Care Legal are currently working with a local authority, based in the South West, which is in need of a Senior Legal Assistant to join their Commercial team. The role will focus on funding and financing agreements and subsidy control, while also encompassing other elements of the team's work. The successful candidate will have experience in local government, although this is not essential.
ROLE:Senior Legal Assistant - Commercial team
RATE: £30-£40ph
LOCATION: South West - hybrid/remote
CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 month rolling
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist commercial legal advice and drafting with a particular emphasis on funding and financing agreements and subsidy control
- Assist with other elements of the team's work which extends to all aspects of commercial law
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Assist with the preparation of legal documentation
- Provide support to the team as required
Requirements:
- Experience in commercial law, with a focus on funding and financing agreements and subsidy control
- This role is open to both qualified and non-qualified candidates who can handle their own Commercial Contracts caseload from start to completion
- Someone with an LLB/LLM
- Experience in local government is preferable but not essential
