Senior Legal Cashier

Reed Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful Southend-based solicitors firm who are searching for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their well-established accounts team.
 

In this role, you will oversee the team’s workload and play an important part in the day to day running of the finance function.
 

Location: Close to Southend-on-Sea

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum

Hours: 9am to 5:30pm
 

Your role will include:

• Assisting the accounts team with queries and adjustments.
• Assisting with management reporting and budgeting process.
• Checking and balancing completion statements and probate statements.
• Daily bank recs and reviewing outstanding receipts.
• Overseeing the AP function.
• Client to office bank transfers.
• Postings of legal aids.
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
• Ensuring adherence to SAR.

Experience in a Legal Cashier role is essential for this position.
