A leading regional law firm, recognised as one of The Times' Best Law Firms of 2024, is seeking a Senior Legal Secretary to join the Employment team. The team provides guidance to individuals and SME clients on various employment-related issues. They cater to a diverse client portfolio, advising on matters such as employment/service agreements, compensation, benefits, onboarding, and departures. Situated near Woking train station, the office provides easy access to local amenities.
Responsibilities:
In this role, the Senior Legal Secretary will provide vital support to a well established and highly regarded Employment Specialist Lawyer and his small team, focusing on delivering excellent client service.
Duties include:
* Liaising with clients to comprehend their matters and ensure progress
* Administering files, including compliance matters such as AML
* Recording information in the practice management system
* Drafting letters, documents, and forms
* Audio and dictation
* Managing daily diaries for oneself and other lawyers
* Making appointments, arranging meetings, and booking rooms
This role offers significant responsibility and exposure to diverse employment matters within the dynamic team.
The ideal candidate d Senior Legal Secretary who is passionate about delivering excellent client service. While experience in employment law is advantageous, the firm also considers those with related legal practice experience.
