Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing business, currently recruiting for a Senior Linux Software Developer to work on algorithm optimisation using NVIDIA Jetson platforms

This is a senior contract position which sits outside IR35 offering hybrid working for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities Senior Linux Software Developer

• Tailor Linux distributions to align with the unique requirements of the product.
• Enforce and uphold security best practices on systems operating on Linux.
• Create and execute protocols for applying software updates, patches, and security fixes to Linux based systems.
• Deploy and enhance AI and neural network algorithms on NVIDIA Jetson hardware.
• Work closely with data scientists to comprehend and convert algorithms into streamlined code.
• Showcase extensive expertise and hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson hardware platforms.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements and features in NVIDIA Jetson products.
• Testing and Debugging

Qualifications & Requirements Senior Linux Software Developer

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Masters or PhD preferred).
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing AI and neural network algorithms.
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience with Python.
• Proven track record of utilizing Linux in a commercial product.
• Hands-on familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson Orin hardware platforms.
• Thorough understanding of parallel processing and GPU architecture.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Knowledge of edge computing and real-time processing.
• Experience in deploying AI models on embedded systems.
