Form of workJob Title: Senior Linux Software Developer Location: Worcestershire Salary Competitive Contract Type: Contract (Outside IR35) Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing business, currently recruiting for a Senior Linux Software Developer to work on algorithm optimisation using NVIDIA Jetson platforms This is a senior contract position which sits outside IR35 offering hybrid working for the successful candidate. Key Responsibilities – Senior Linux Software Developer Tailor Linux distributions to align with the unique requirements of the product. Enforce and uphold security best practices on systems operating on Linux. Create and execute protocols for applying software updates, patches, and security fixes to Linux based systems. Deploy and enhance AI and neural network algorithms on NVIDIA Jetson hardware. Work closely with data scientists to comprehend and convert algorithms into streamlined code. Showcase extensive expertise and hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson hardware platforms. Stay abreast of the latest advancements and features in NVIDIA Jetson products. Testing and Debugging Qualifications & Requirements – Senior Linux Software Developer Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Masters or PhD preferred). Demonstrated expertise in implementing AI and neural network algorithms. More than 3 years of hands-on experience with Python. Proven track record of utilizing Linux in a commercial product. Hands-on familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson Orin hardware platforms. Thorough understanding of parallel processing and GPU architecture. Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Knowledge of edge computing and real-time processing.
