Role - Logistics Manager
Salary - £60,000 (possibly some flexibility on this) + benefits
Location - London - office based 5 days per week (Notting Hill)
Start Date - February - Ideally seeking someone immediately available or on a short notice period, but will consider people on a longer notice.
Pod Talent are excited to partner with a growing fashion retailer, who are seeking a Logistics Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The Logistics Manager, whilst managing a dedicated team, will lead the implementation of cutting-edge D2C logistics strategy in the luxury fashion industry, playing a pivotal role in shaping and optimising the businesses supply chain operations.
What you'll be doing as Logistics Manager -
- Define and implement the D2C logistics strategy, focusing on operations.
- Oversee 3PL D2C operations, ensuring efficient order processing, quality control, and compliance.
- Manage courier relationships, track KPIs, and enhance shipping and return flows.
- Recruit, train, and lead logistics customer service support for a seamless customer experience.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, oversee international import/export compliance, and contribute to sustainability initiatives.
Key Experience Required for the position of Logistics Manager -
- 5+ years of logistics expertise, specialising in direct-to-consumer/ecommerce channels, ideally within the dynamic world of fashion (though experience in all retail sectors is welcome).
- Proficiency in relevant systems, including MS Office; Retail Operating Systems and CRM systems. (knowledge of Brightpearl, SAP or Hubspot would be advantageous).
- Strong track record in managing 3PL logistics operations, courier companies, and customer service.
- Demonstrated ability in team building, development, and management.
