Senior Machine Learning Researcher

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Machine Learning Researcher has arisen, to join a life-saving cancer-based drug discovery research start-up based in London. As the Senior Machine Learning Researcher, you will be responsible for creating and developing industry-leading Machine Learning tools to develop optimal drug therapies.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Machine Learning Researcher will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. You will be leading the AI work of the Chemistry team, contributing to their vital drug discovery efforts.
2. You will implement novel Machine Learning solutions, and put these into motion.
3. You will be developing robust model validation pipelines.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Machine Learning Researcher we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. PhD in Computer Science/AI/Chemistry, or another closely-related discipline, or a MSc with significant industrial experience.
2. 5+ years' experience as a Machine Learning researcher within a chemistry-focused research group.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with implementing Machine Learning algorithms like TensorFlow and/or PyTorch, as well as methods including LLMs, deep learning and 3D CNNs.
