RavenPack is searching for a Senior Machine Learning Researcher (NLP) to join the Data Solutions Research Team at our Spanish headquarters.

As a Senior Machine Learning Researcher (NLP), you'll be instrumental in developing innovative data products leveraging large language models, while also demonstrating the value of such data for trading and investment purposes across various asset classes and time horizons.

The ability to communicate effectively in English both in writing and verbally is a must.

European legal working status is required.

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of passionate professionals to craft research-driven data solutions, introducing new analytics and factors utilizing RavenPack's cutting-edge processes and technology.
• Engage in practical use-cases to illustrate the tangible value of our data across a spectrum of asset classes, fueling innovation in trading strategies.
• Share your data-driven discoveries and insights with top quantitative researchers and investors, shaping industry discourse and contributing to RavenPack's thought leadership.

What We're Looking For:

• A PhD/MSc in Quantitative or Computational Finance, or a related field such as Computer Science, Machine Learning, Physics, Signal Processing, or Applied Mathematics, showcasing your commitment to excellence.
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a track record of original research.
• Proficiency in articulating complex analytical concepts in a clear and concise manner, ensuring effective communication across diverse stakeholders.
• Proven practical experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), leveraging state-of-the-art Language Models like BERT, Llama, Mistral, and beyond.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in fine-tuning Large Language Models, unlocking their full potential to drive insights and innovation.
• Experience building and coordinating different LLM agents.
• Familiarity with handling noisy Alternative Data in Finance, providing a competitive advantage in navigating complex market dynamics.
• Exposure to cloud databases and computing services; proving your ability to leverage cutting-edge technology in your work.
