Join us at AstraZeneca’s manufacturing site in Liverpool, a city rich in history and creativity. We are seeking an accomplished Communication professional with proven experience in developing Internal Communication Strategies, Plans, and Processes. This role is pivotal in supporting the communication of Business Strategy & Planning and driving Employee Engagement.
As a Senior Manager, you will work closely with the Site Leadership Teams to develop and deliver the Site's Communication Strategy and annual Communication Plans. You will lead site engagement events such as Town Halls & site visits. Your responsibilities will also include supporting Site Leadership Teams and People Managers on building communication capabilities on the sites to drive Leadership presence and engagement. You will use various media platforms to design site communications that inform, involve, and inspire employees.
- Previous experience in a similar role or experience of delivering/supporting internal communication activities
- Experience of organising site events including working with relevant internal colleagues and external suppliers
- Excellent ability to network and build strong relationships across a global network
- Experience of a full suite of Microsoft Office products, Photoshop, Adobe Reader, and Writer (or equivalent products)
- Experience of drafting and delivering clear, credible, and compelling communications
- Ability to think outside of the box and produce creative solutions to support site initiatives/campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels within the organization
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to the role as is the need to be solution focused with attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Adobe Proficient
- Experience of creating and editing videos
- Photography experience
