SalaryOne of the largest full service Law Firms in the world is looking for an established and assured Senior Marketing & BD Manager to provide support to their Real Estate practice, dealing with some of the world's top businesses and working alongside some of the world's leading lawyers.
Based in either Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds, this opportunity is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career in a supportive environment. They are seeking a highly professional and energetic marketing and business development professional for this fast-paced and varied role. You will be joining a team that is widely recognised as challenging the paradigm of traditional Law Firm marketing and you will be genuinely empowered to lead and deliver on highly strategic and innovative market and client-facing programmes and projects and will be expected to exploit your knowledge and experience to consistently challenge and raise marketing and business development standards. Working with the practice group head, international leaders and senior partners, the role will be integral in delivering the highest standards to the business. The Senior Marketing & BD Manager will drive forward the marketing and business development strategy and will be required to develop the go to market approach and relevant product opportunities of the Real Estate practice. Acting as facilitator to the global partner group and main liaison to a US counterpart, the successful applicant will provide business intelligence on key competitors and marketplace trends, identifying ways of gaining a competitive advantage, and will be responsible for developing and embedding campaigns and activities that enhance the practice’s reputation in key segments of the market. In addition, the role holder will be expected to play a key role in team development and management, encouraging and empowering team members to own projects, engage in client development activities and build personal relationships with fee earners.
The ideal candidate will have proven marketing and business development experience gained in a matrixed professional services environment, to include exposure to the Real Estate sector, and will be able to demonstrate a superb track record of using market and client insights and understanding to drive growth initiatives and further enhance the reputation of individuals and the wider practice and firm. Analytical, enthusiastic and comfortable working with all levels of seniority, you must enjoy providing the highest quality support, delivering on objectives at every opportunity, and be ready to be proactive in helping the business grow and move forwards. The Senior Marketing & BD Manager will also possess a strong work ethic, excellent people management skills and will work well individually and as part of a team.
