Senior Marketing Manager

Glasgow City Centre – Hybrid

Up to 60k

A rare role has landed within a leading, dynamic and rapidly growing technology consultancy, dedicated to helping businesses drive digital transformation and realize their potential. With a strong focus on delivering innovative solutions, they are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join their team in Glasgow.

This is a UK wide company with a formidable team of several hundred employees and ambitious plans to expand by an additional 50 in the upcoming year. What truly sets this role apart is its connection to a larger group, which provides robust support and substantial room for personal and professional growth.

The Role:

You will play a crucial role in shaping and executing their marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and business growth. You will work as a senior figure in a small team of marketing professionals and working closely with various internal stakeholders to create and implement effective marketing campaigns. They’re seeking a strategic thinker, creative problem solver, and leader who can drive their marketing efforts to the next level. Your core speciality will however be content.

This role will provide you the opportunity to support numerous teams working in different verticals, thus providing you with a varied role. This will allow you to work across numerous channels. More importantly, the business is aspirational, and they're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who can bring new ideas to the table.

Responsibilities:

  • Align marketing strategy with overall business strategy, focusing on key verticals and the partner ecosystem.
  • Lead the marketing strategy for the business, emphasizing strategic initiatives and quality output.
  • Execute an integrated marketing schedule, creating adaptable content for key sectors and customers.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for promoting the business through various channels.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align plans, messaging, and activities.
  • Utilize the partner ecosystem, especially their relationship with a major tech provider, for coordinated marketing activities.
  • Manage inputs from internal and external sources to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Set targets, budgets, and measure and report on marketing activity and performance.
  • Analyze results continuously, refining strategies and sharing best practices within the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree is a bonus.
  • Minimum circa 5 years of experience in marketing.
  • Proficiency in B2B SAAS marketing.
  • Strong background in high-performance marketing operations.
  • Expertise in brand, campaign, digital, content, and events management.
  • Familiarity with complex B2B services environments.
  • Preferred: Marketing degree or professional qualification.
  • Outstanding mentoring, coaching, and development skills.
  • Creative thinker in campaigns, offers, market positioning, and messaging; exceptional communication and attention to detail, with effective workload planning abilities.
